Coming for her Curves by Hope Ford ARC review

Coming for Her Curves by Hope Ford is a book that wasn't what I expected, but so glad I took the time to read.
Ryker has been a famous baseball player and decides to retire while still in the prime of his career at forty, right after a championship win. He has given it all up because he realizes his one true love, Isabel “Izzy” Curtis, is finally single after a divorce.
In small-town fashion, Ryker decides to move back home and win Izzy back. He shows his love in small and big gestures. He even buys and fixes up the house they both loved as teenagers. People in their lives and community help along the way. Izzy guards her heart and her son like a mother would. Once she realizes that Ryker is a true man and cares for her and realizes that he truly loves her son just as much, she begins to break down her guard.
Coming for her Curves hits the mark for second chance, slow-burn, family-oriented, small town romance, Hallmark-style fashion. I highly recommend reading the letters that are an optional download as well.

Bourbon Wishes by Nichole Rose ARC Review

Bourbon Wishes by Nichole Rose was a much better book than I expected. It is not necessarily my typical read, as I am not into most boss-employee tropes. This book, however, might be the exception or the one that got me more interested.

Bourbon Wishes focuses on Bastian Grayson, head of the family vineyard, and Constance Maverick, the social media manager that everyone at the vineyard loves. They have a sunshine grumpy dynamic that has its funny moments as well. It's not that they bump heads; it's more like keeping each other on their toes with the almost unexpected.

And when they finally get together, whew, be prepared for some of the best scenes and banter. Bastian Grayson may just become either your secret favorite character or your idea of the best book boyfriend that you didn't expect. And the steps he takes to ensure Constance is his forever make it all worthwhile.

Overall, this book is longer than most of my more recent reads, but definitely worth reading. The intensity levels were right on point and kept the book fast-paced. I cannot recommend this book enough to romance readers. I cannot wait to check out more Nichole Rose options.

Thank you to Instalove Influencers and the author for this review opportunity.

My Grandma and Grandpa Rock! review

My Grandma and Grandpa Rock is a cute and sweet children's book. What makes it even better is that it was written by Pat Benatar and her husband.

We read it as an advanced reader copy. My five-month-old seemed to enjoy it because of all the bright colors in the pictures. I appreciated it as it is a great choice for grandparents to read with grandchildren, it offers other grandparent names and professions (just in case yours aren't rock stars), and it is the perfect length to keep a little one's attention. ( We checked it out during bottle feeding.)

Even better, it is out now, right after Grandparents’ Day.

Her Outlaw Biker by Cassi Hart review

Her Outlaw Biker by Cassi Hart is definitely a book I didn't know that I needed to read, and it was hard for me to put down. It is the second book in the Vanishing With the Rebel series.

What do you do when you are trying to protect your family as well as keep yourself safe? Well, if you are Clover Raymond, you go looking for a missing member of the Iron Vultures motorcycle club to settle a debt for your father. Of course, not everything is as it seems.

Jack Maddox, or “Ghost,” is nothing like the Iron Vultures made him out to be. He has lived in seclusion for three years. When Clover does find him, they both find out their lives are different but alike at the same time. And the electricity between them? Even better.

Her Outlaw Biker definitely has enough intensity and passion to keep you reading. These characters definitely deserved their happily ever after. I can't wait to see if another book comes into this series.
