My Mountain Man Grump by Sadie King was definitely a quick read that I needed. It was a quick read, grumpy sunshine, and actually had me thinking it might not end in a happy ever after. What else could I want?
My Mountain Man Grump focuses on Cole and Carrie. Cole, a widower with two girls, is clueless that he has a potential mate coming his way ... again. Carrie, a virgin, is ready for Iife and adventures. The craziness that ensues when they finally meet and discover the truth makes you hope for the best but keeps you wondering at the same time.
In the end, they do manage to get their happy ever after with a few bumps in between. Overall, this book is exactly what I needed when I selected it out of my to be read pile. I will probably look into the rest of the series and select more Sadie King books in the future.
